Garden of the Gods elopement days just hit different, and Jordan and Caleb’s in Colorado Springs was the perfect mix of intimate, relaxed, and wildly beautiful.
And honestly? It felt exactly like them. Easy, intentional, and full of joy.

Jordan and Caleb met in college, the kind of slow-burn love that started as friendship and quietly turned into something more. They weren’t the couple who wanted a big production or a packed timeline. They wanted something that actually felt like them.
So instead of a traditional wedding, they chose a Garden of the Gods elopement. Just immediate family, a handful of meaningful moments, and their dogs, who are very much part of the family.
Because obviously… they had to be there.
If you’ve ever been to Garden of the Gods, you already know. The red rock formations, the mountain backdrop, the way the light hits at sunset… it’s unreal.
But what made it perfect for Jordan and Caleb wasn’t just how beautiful it is. It was how accessible and relaxed it felt. No complicated logistics, no pressure. Just showing up, being present, and getting married in one of the most beautiful places in Colorado.
Their ceremony took place on one of the quiet overlooks, tucked just enough away to feel private while still soaking in those sweeping mountain views.
Their family stood close, no rows, no formal setup. Just everyone gathered around, sharing the moment together.
And then there were the dogs… who absolutely stole the show at least three times.
Between wagging tails, curious sniffing, and one very enthusiastic attempt to join the ceremony mid-vows, it was the perfect reminder that this day wasn’t about perfection. It was about real life, real love, and the people and pets that matter most.
After the ceremony, we took our time exploring the park for portraits, and this is where everything really slowed down in the best way.
Golden hour at Garden of the Gods is magic. The red rocks glow, the mountains soften in the background, and everything feels warm and cinematic.
Jordan and Caleb leaned into it fully. Laughing, dancing, completely wrapped up in each other. No rush, no stress. Just being present.
And yes… we absolutely had to include the dogs in a few portraits. Because what’s an elopement without them?
What I loved most about this day wasn’t just how beautiful it was, but how easy it felt.
No strict timeline. No pressure to perform. Just a couple choosing each other in a way that felt true to them.
These are the kinds of elopements that stick with you. The ones where you can breathe, laugh, and actually experience your wedding day instead of rushing through it.

If you’re dreaming about eloping in Colorado and want something that feels intimate, relaxed, and still absolutely stunning, Garden of the Gods is one of the best places you can choose.
You can keep it simple, bring your favorite people (and your dogs), and create a day that actually feels like yours.
And if that’s what you’re envisioning… I’m already excited for you.
