My heart cried happy tears for these two.

Funny story : When Ivan and Olena inquired with me, we hopped on a consultation call quite quickly. In the middle of it I asked how they found me to which they responded :” oh i believe you shot our friends, they’re the ones whose picture you use as an ad for Wedding Wire and TheKnot.” OH WOW. What an incredibly sweet compliment that they would want to work with me after having seen me work with their close friends.

Although it had been raining pretty much all week, and the. fact that I managed to find myself at the wrong paring lot at first – their elopement was nothing short of magical. Accompanied by the soft, salty sea breeze and the most powerful of sunsets – these two lovebirds got to marry each other in Hawaii.

And like any incredible session, they ended up playing in the waves and the sun went down and dusk settled in. They gave me major siren and pirate vibes which obviously, I only mean as a great compliment. 🖤
