I love all my couples, but some of them hold a special place in my heart. That’s definitely the case for Natalie and Caleb who had a Papa Kona Wedding earlier this year!

As we all know at this point, I am obsessed with Africa, so you can imagine how stoked I was when these two reached out, telling me they had just gotten engaged on a safari in Tanzania! Not me being completely jealous over here!

I love how they incorporated little details reminding them of Africa during their reception and ceremony. Even Natalie coming down the aisle to “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”.

Their wedding at Papa Kona was so beautiful. And emotional. Being their photographer was such a gift. To see how much fun they had with their friends and wedding party, their parents being so loving, it was incredible. One of Caleb’s groomsmen was actually from South Africa so I even got to practice my Africaans a little bit.

PSA: If any of you wants to get engaged or married in Africa I will give you the world’s biggest discount because I NEED to go back to my favorite country ASAP.

If I had to describe TheWanderingB Photography in one word, it would be enthusiasm!! Bea is so passionate about what she does, it made the whole experience fun, stress-free and amazing! From pre-planning FaceTime calls to the wedding day photoshoot, we loved working with her. She is super creative, and seemed as excited about our wedding as our closest friends!
