Hi friends! My name is Bea and I am a wedding photographer in Oahu! Although I mostly shoot on the NorthShore , it is always a treat when I head down to Honolulu for an elopement!

Stephanie and Derick had been dating for over 12 years before he decided to pop the question. I asked them how they met and they .. they met at a club. The good old fashion way. And being completely honest, I love that!

Don’t get me wrong I have nothing against dating apps but it’s even more special when my couple’s love story starts with a complete random beginning!

Living in California they planned to use their elopement vacation time also as a honeymoon, so they hoped on a flight to Oahu and got married!

One of the most common things I help my couples with as a Honolulu wedding photographer is timing ! From what to expect with traffic and also how to time your ceremony perfectly so you have the best lighting in your photographs ! Personally I will start from the time of when the sun sets that day and then work backwards from there! Sunrise is also a really good option if you have plans later in the day.

There just aren’t enough words to possibly describe how amazing each and every photo that Bea snaps. She has a magical way of finding the perfect angle, lighting and of course expressions. We had such a fun time and we feel like we’ve known her forever! We also can’t believe we got our gallery the very next day!
