Logan planned his surprise proposal in Hawaii to Katie for months before the actual day. From designing her ring to asking her father’s permission, finding their kona engagement photographer, to being in cahoots with his parents for a cover story. He planned it all!

He reached out to me to be his engagement photographer in Kona via email a couple of weeks before his intended proposal date and I just happened to have that day open. So it worked out perfectly. He mentioned to me multiple times that I was the only photographer that replied to his inquiry with such enthusiasm!

This is so odd to me because if you’re not 110% psyched about your job and working with clients – then you’re not doing it right. That’s also why I consider myself much more than just your photographer. Yes, I provide you with amazing pictures but also an experience! And I will be your hype girl throughout our whole session.

Their proposal was incredibly sweet, and they were blessed by having not 1, not 2 but 3 endangered monk seals lounging around on the beach!

Remember: a distance of 30 feet is required around monk seals!
