I will always remember this Maui elopement because it all happened in the span of .. 25 minutes! Can you believe it? I definitely can’t!

I travel often to capture couples all over the globe, and I have a pretty airtight and transparent travel policy with all my clients. But sometimes things happen and that’s ok! Tatyanna and Jake booked me a year in advance for 4 hours of coverage for their elopement day!

Me and the officiant met up at the assigned time and waited, and waited. Then we got worried! 30 minutes went by, then an hour, then two hours… Keep in mind in the meantime we are frantically trying to reach our couple but all our calls would immediately go to voicemail!

We were this close to calling the authorities to check on car accidents when we got a call from them informing us that their hair and makeup artists were still working on them and they were going to be late another hour. They finally got to the beach, had the quickest ceremony I have ever been a part of and then we RAN to the beach to take some bridal shots!

At the end of the day, it is their day and I am just happy that they had a good time and that they love their photos. BUT MAN – What an adventure this Maui elopement was! 😉
