This wedding had me emotional! So many tears were shed that day. And yes, mostly from me. This rustic barn wedding was so special to me for so many reasons.

Fun fact, Cheyanne and I have known each other for quite a few years! We trained at Mauna Loa Helicopters together in 2018 and 2019. Another fun fact, bet you didn’t know I trained as a helicopter pilot huh?

We were roommates for a couple of years, and I’ve gotten the honor to see her accomplish so much. Seeing her live through graduating from Pilot School, getting engaged to Matt, planning her wedding, choosing her dress, and more!

She eventually made the decision to move back to Pennsylvania to be closer to her family and move in with Matt, which also made planning her wedding there that much more easier! The one thing she was always sure of however, was having me as her wedding photographer. And I’ve always wanted to become a destination wedding photographer, so it was a win-win for everybody!

She flew me in a couple of days before her wedding and I helped her make signs, finish the final touched on prep. Then we drove a couple of hours to Falls and got into our hotel. I was by her side for the rehearsal, the dinner, and the game night before her big day the next day. Only running on a few hours of sleep, we woke up at 4am to have the girls start their make up by 5am at the venue. I was a professional third wheel and stalker for the rest of the day and her 8 hour wedding.

I am so happy to have been able to be there for her special day – and I can not wait to see where life takes her, Matthew, and her cat next 🖤
