This is exactly how I managed to capture Negin and Jacob’s Valley of Fire elopement in Nevada. I had been to Vegas before but I’m not much of a city girl, so this was more my speed!

They exchanged their vows at the top of huge, fiery red rock formations, galavanted in the desert, and had their first dance at the top of cliffs while watching the sunset.

Sounds like a dream to me!

They also rented a Jeep, so we obviously had to incorporate it in their photos. A thing I love about capturing elopements this way is that EVERYTHING is important to me, and deserves to be captured. The car you rented, the little vow books filled with love notes, the kind of drink you get to calm your nerves before getting married. ALL of it is your wedding day. And that’s why I will never stop shooting all the big moments, filled with the little, intentional details that create your authentic love story.
