The one thing I remember the most about Chloe and Alex’s Kealakekua Bay elopement on the Big Island is the laughter. Everyone was just so happy and joking with each other, with such good vibes.

Although it was a small group, it was such a trendy and boho Hawaii elopement. The great thing about this ceremony site is that it is in a no-reception zone. So you can be sure that your wedding will be completely unplugged. The sunset always looks incredible on the ocean, contrasting with the lava rocks and cliffs.

They told me they were awkward, and not familiar with being on the back of the camera, but it’s right up my alley because I can also be super quirky and I am of course hilarious. They had some more serious photos but honestly, my focus is to capture my couples exactly as they are. So they also climbed trees, had funny family photos, and ended up with some portraits in the golden rays of the setting sun.
