Siwei + Sisi | Mauna Kea Couple’s Session
Siwei contacted me in July to ask if I would be available to capture him and his beautiful wife Sisi for their 3 year anniversary. They were only going to be on the Big Island for a couple of days and I immediately jumped at the chance because well, I love Love!We met up at the Westin Hapuna, and walked around the beautiful grounds, finding shade in the trees, trying to avoid the construction that was currently going on and get to the cliffs. The more we walked and talked, the more I got to know them and how well we connected!
Their story is too cute not to share. Both from Thailand, they met while in University in China! They both eventually got jobs in the US but in different states so they had to go through with having a long distance relationship for a while. However as love always prevails, they eventually got married and are now living in cold beautiful Canada with their cat (which we totally bonded over).We eventually made our way to the beach and started to play in the waves. But as winter is slowly approaching, the waves slowly start to get bigger and bigger.. which is why halfway through both me and Sisi got completely wiped out by a wave ! Siwei was alright, only us shorties got traumatized haha and I still have no idea how I managed to keep my camera above water but boy was I grateful that it’s fine !!They finished our two house couples session, covered in sand, hearts full and a head full of memories (and maybe salt water lol) – just the way I love it.
