Did you know it snows in Hawaii ? Me neither – until I moved here. It snows at the top of Mauna Kea approximatively every year, but this year OH BOY were we blessed with a lot of snow. Which is why I was over the moon when asked if I could shoot up there. We headed up in the same rattly Jeep and just kept breathing in the insane views as we drove up the access road, while stopping along the way. When we got to the top, the winds were so rough and so strong, we could barely open our car doors. Once outside we quickly realized that it was freezing, I mean a *chilling to the bone / burning your face* kinda freezing. But they were troopers, my dog had an amazing time and those pictures are probably some of my favorite.
