At the beginning of December – I received an inquiry for Mariah and Zach. They recently had gotten engaged (in the rain on top of a mountain in Kailua) and were looking to make it official in the next two weeks! They had been scoping out locations for their ceremony, and fell in love with lanai lookout. In full transparency I was so incredibly excited, not only do I LOVE destination elopements where I get to travel – but I also had never shot at this location and I was up for the challenge! Zach had just moved to Oahu for his new position in the Marines, Mariah being a graphic designer in North Carolina will be joining him in paradise very soon. They had told me at the beginning of our shoot that they were incredibly shy and are not used to being in fronted the camera. Which is something I hear a lot with my clients, and maybe I am biased – but they killed it ! I MEAN .. JUST LOOK AT THEM.
