Honeymoon Session in Waikoloa on the Big Island, HAWAII
The great thing about Hawaii is that people are always celebrating and enjoying the islands. These two choose to celebrate by hiring me as their Hawaii honeymoon photographer!

She and her husband Matthew had just gotten married in their home state of Washington and decided to treat themselves to a sweet honeymoon to the Big Island before returning to work. She works in healthcare, he is in the military. Needless to say, I admired them both, especially since this was right after the worst of the pandemic.
Even though this was a mini session, there was more than enough time for us to walk and explore along the banks of A-Bay before their reservation at the restaurant right next to it, Lava Lava Beach Club. If you have the chance to go there, do it! They have really tasty mai tais!
And after their session and getting in the water, their ma tais were well deserved! The photos turned out amazing and the lighting that day was PERFECT!

Bea was beyond amazing. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable. She encouraged us along the way and completely created a fun and carefree environment. She made a point to facilitate certain shots without it feeling awkward or forced. Our photos are beyond gorgeous and genuinely capture our excitement and sillyness.
