I was sold when Mikki told me she bought the most ridiculous dress she could find so she could prank her husband-to-be. Seriously, it was hilarious!

The weather was fantastic during this Royal Kona small wedding. I first met up with Mikki at her hotel room to say hi to all the girls and get some detail shots. Later, her mom, sister in law and I headed down, carefully dodging Pat and his boys to bring them to the location near their hotel for their first look. AND BOY WHAT A FIRST LOOK IT WAS.

Her dress indeed was .. a lot. But I don’t think Pat could have reacted in a better way. And he would have loved that dress if it meant he still got to marry his woman.

Their ceremony was incredibly sweet, not just joining the two of them in marriage. But also creating the cutest blended family with their little ones.

After celebrating their ceremony, reception, and a couple of glasses of champagne, we parted ways during the hottest hours of the day and joined each other for a post-wedding sunset bridal session. Their love and affection for each other was overwhelming. AND I LOVED IT.
