Karolina and Timo eloped on Big Island coming all the way from Sweden to Hawaii from my birth country. YEP. I was born in Sweden. But I am not Swedish I am French, my parents were working for the French Embassy at the time. I am so grateful I was able to be a part of their journey. It was so fun to help them plan and organize their special day from across the pond.

While planning their destination elopement in Hawaii, I was more than happy to be there for them. Helping them organize their elopement every step of the way!

Karolina had sent me some inspo photos that she really wanted to be captured. It was so helpful to know so I could 100% satisfy their expectations! Plus, as a Hawaii destination photographer lists and staying organized is my jam!

They had their elopement at the beautiful Mauna Lani resort close to Waikoloa on the Big Island of Hawaii. We started our two-hour session with me meeting Veronika in her room, getting just a couple of getting ready pictures. We organized a first look, where Timo cried which made my heart melt. After their ceremony, they got some bridal photos done on the shores of the beach and it was so so incredibly beautiful.
