Julie + Shaun | Oahu Northshore Beach Elopement
I will always have a little special place in my heart for international love.
Shaun is actually from Scotland and hearing their stories of traveling there and also the immigration and all the trials they had to go through .. It really brought me back to my own experiences.
Their elopement was on the beautiful North Shore of Oahu, probably one of my favorite places in all of Hawaii. I actually lived there before moving to Big Island! Their day however was not like any others. For one, it rained. But did you know that in the Hawaiian culture it is considered a blessing ? Then they had forgotten their leis and marriage licenses, but they could not be any less affected by any of it. All they cared about was being together, and being so incredibly happy that they were getting married today.
Throughout it all, they kept smiles on their faces and love in their eyes. Their ceremony on the beach was sweet, intimate and surrounded by their closest loved ones. I am tearing eye every time I look at these.
