Sean + Christi | Surprise Proposal on Waialea Beach on the Big Island, HAWAII
This Surprise Engagement on the Waialea Beach on the Big Island was the definition of a Hawaii dream proposal!
When Sean reached out and asked me to be a part of this surprise proposal I was so stoked!
During the Hawaii winter, it tends to be a little stormy and overcast. I love the mood and feel that this brings to all the photos. This day encompassed hawaii winter perfectly! The weather was moody and overcast that day and looked so dreamy at this ocean view lookout spot.
We decided to do the surprise proposal at one of my favorite beaches in Hawaii. It is on the NorthWest side of Hawaii Island and has many cute secluded spots , perfect for a surprise proposal. Sean is a musician and wrote and produced his proposal song to Christi in under 10 days ! Talk about an incredibly fast turnover haha
When they arrived on the beach , me and the owner of Malama Luxury picnics had a scheme to capture their moment on video too. We told them we needed to get some “behind the scenes shots for me as a vendor.” The picnic set up was beautiful and then Sean took out his guitar, his speaker and serenaded his love, to no surprise – she said yes!
Sean and Christi were beaming of love this day. These two were made for each other and you could literally feel the happiness they both felt.
An Amazing Experience !
TheWanderingB did an AMAZING job capturing our engagement on the Big Island of Hawaii in September.
